The EPD24 protection devices expand ABB's product portfolio of DIN rail mounted devices with electronic overcurrent protection modules for selective protection of 24 V DC load circuits. Faults in individual branches caused by overload or short circuit are detected and selectively switched off so that other load current paths remain unaffected by the fault. In this way straightforward, quick troubleshooting is made possible.
